We Love Austin, TX08.01.09

We kicked it pretty hard in Dallas the night before and got a late start leaving the city. On the way to Austin we stopped off at Bush’s Chicken in Waco, TX. You might remember this city as being made famous when David Koresh and the Branch Dravidians waged a small war with the FBI, ATF, and local police. (Read about it here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Koresh.

We were in Austin for SXSW in March but were so busy that we didn’t get a chance to chill. Things were different this time around. We rocked the legendary Stubb’s stage and got an incredible reaction. The SXSW showcases were cool and all but this show had so much energy!

We linked up with John Vice, Eazy, and DJ Mike Swing after the show and hit up Gruv nightclub. The club owner hooked us up with a free bottle and before you knew the party was poppin. 30 minutes later Asher Roth, his manager Jason, and DJ Wreckineyez walked in the club and shut it down. What a night that turned out to be………..

We drove from Dallas because we knew the show would be liver in Austin. Y’all shut the shit down. I was front row haha. People were asking “who is Pac Div” before the show and I told ‘em y’all were sick. After the set, they were like “damn, I have to get their shit” haha. Y’all killed man. Congrats and wishing y’all continued success.
